Celebrity is an American run operator with Greek origins that provides a high quality cruising experience on modern spacious ships. Now owned by Royal Caribbean International, Celebrity offers cruising in elegant and imaginative surroundings with good cuisine and service.
The spacious ships offer lots of outdoor deck space and above average cabin sizes while more basic accommodation is offered on the expedition vessel. Three new 118,000 tonne Solstice class ships are now in service and 2 more arrived in 2011 and 2012.

You may also find repositioning cruises in April and October.
Cruises on the east coast are now becoming a year round feature. Weather will depend on the cruise area and time of year;
- Kenya is driest from December to March
- Madagascar and Mauritius are at their most humid with possible cyclones from January to March.
Most places will be hot and sometimes humid while Southern Africa will offer a more temperate climate.
