Ambassador Cruise Line is a brand-new cruise line and is the first new British cruise line to be launched since 2010. Its purpose is to inspire and delight every guest to enjoy an authentic cruise experience effortlessly, and sustainably.
Ambassador’s staff and crew will be the friendliest, and most diverse, in the industry. Guests will make long-lasting friendships both with fellow guests and crew, creating a community at sea.
Ambience is the first Ambassador ship. Derived from the French word for ‘surrounding’, she has the perfect ambience. With her sister, Ambition, aptly named to further emphasise Ambassador's commitment to inspire and delight every guest to enjoy an authentic cruise experience effortlessly, and sustainably.
Ambassador sails for the British market from London Tilbury with a focus on premium-value. The Line is adult-focussed and age-inclusive but primarily aimed at the 50-plus market. The cruise line will run a number of multi-generation cruises over the summer holidays.

World cruises visit the region from: January to March
You may also find repositioning cruises in April and October.
Cruises on the east coast are now becoming a year round feature. Weather will depend on the cruise area and time of year;
- Kenya is driest from December to March
- Madagascar and Mauritius are at their most humid with possible cyclones from January to March.
Most places will be hot and sometimes humid while Southern Africa will offer a more temperate climate.
