Maison La Minervetta

Located 10 minutes’ walk from the centre of Sorrento in a spectacular location perched on the cliff overlooking the fishing boats in the harbour below, this excellent hotel is run by Eugenia and her architect husband Marco.

Decorated with an eclectic mix of objects and paintings collected from around the world, the hotel has established an excellent reputation. The Minervetta has succeeded where many ‘design’ hotels have failed because the owners personally oversee every aspect and together with their charming staff, they have created a relaxed, homely environment. There are just 12 bedrooms, all with sea views. The terrace offers wonderful views across to Sorrento and beyond to the Bay of Naples. The hotel’s plunge pool and sun terraces are accessed by a lift and steps.
