Borgo San Felice

The pretty hilltop hamlet of San Felice lies in the heart of Chianti, 15kms from Siena. It dates back to as early as  714AD and now the whole hamlet has been converted into a luxury hotel.

It is also one of Chianti Classico’s leading wine estates. The 43 rooms are all decorated in traditional Tuscan style and are spread throughout the hamlet whether in the main palazzo or in the numerous mediaeval townhouses. The hotel is a member of Relais & Châteaux and its ‘Poggio Rosso’ restaurant serves fine cuisine using the best local produce. Leisure facilities include an outdoor swimming pool, tennis courts, pitching green and spa. Open 21 April – 14 November.
