History: Started in Travel 1994, bought Travelworld in December 2005
Best Travel Experience: So many amazing trips to choose from but a fantastic holiday to
Ecuador & Galapagos was probably the pick of them all. I enjoyed a fabulous fortnight starting in Quito, then trekking in the Amazon rainforest and finishing with a cruise around the Galapagos Islands. I had some wonderful experiences and saw some amazing sights and scenery.
My ideal travel companion would be…….. James Cordon
If I wasn’t doing this job I would…….. A ski instructor in Austria
Started in travel 1998, joined Travelworld in 2004
Best Travel Experience: How do I choose? I have been very lucky to experience many wonderful places in the world! I think my highlight has to be Hawaii………..in 2012 I joined the Hawaiian Tourist Board and Trafalgar Tours on a three island adventure. Each island has something very different to offer. From Surfing an awesome wave to standing on a live volcano, there is something to suit everyone. The people are incredibly kindly and friendly, and I would love to return one day to share this amazing place with my family…..Aloha
From one extreme to another, I also have a bit of a soft spot for Norway in the winter. I have been lucky enough to visit Norway twice with Hurtigruten in Search of the Northern Lights. It is a beautiful country, again with very friendly people…..and to tops things off I have seen the Aurora Borealis on a few occasions too!
My ideal travel companion would be…….. Brandon Flowers from the Killers.
If I wasn’t doing this job I would…….. love to run a children’s soft play centre in Sidmouth
History: Started in Travel in 1995 when I worked overseas, as a holiday rep in the summer, and a ski chalet host in the winters. I became a travel agent in 1999 and am joining Travelworld in April 2018
Best Travel Experience: Hmm that is difficult. I love all holidays and travelling. Some of my favourites are Greece and Turkey for the sunshine, hospitality and lovely beaches, France for the skiing in winter and Florida for the fun. However my most memorable was probably a trip to New Zealand and Australia. As well as the beautiful scenery and wildlife in New Zealand I also tried white water rafting, skied on a volcano and skydived over the bay of Islands. I then went onto Australia and travelled from Sydney up to Cairns. I had many adventures here too; I spent time on a cattle farm, sailed around the Whitsunday Islands and probably the highlight of all, learnt to dive on the Great barrier reef. I have some fantastic memories, but also have a long list of places still on my wish list!
My ideal travel companion would be David Attenborough – there are not many places in the World he hasn’t been to and I think a trip with him would be amazing.
If I wasn’t doing this job I would run a cake shop, but only when they invent a calorie free recipe.
History: Started travel in 1984, joined Travelworld in 2018 after a bit of a break bringing up my 3 children.
Best Travel Experience: I have enjoyed many holidays but one of the most memorable was a family fly/drive trip to the Florida Keys. We stayed in Marathon Key which is about halfway between Miami and Key West, the southernmost point of the United States, after driving across Seven Mile Bridge. Swimming with dolphins, visiting the Everglades, going on an author and my first helicopter trip were among the highlights, along with watching Key Wests famous sunset.
My Ideal Travel companion would be……Joanna Lumley – how much fun?
If I wasn’t doing this job I would……like to run a stand up paddleboard centre somewhere hot with crystal clear, warm, flat water.
